Inspection of the clamping unit
Have Ratio-Clamp® from Hänchen inspected:
- without safety function, after a maximum of two million clamping cycles.
- with safety function, after a maximum of one million clamping cycles.
Have safety catcher from Hänchen inspected:
- after a maximum of two million clamping cycles for "secure load".
- after a maximum of one hundred clamping cycles for "assume load".
Depending on usage, regularly, at least semi-annually, or after extended downtime periods
- Check for tightness.
- Ensure that the holding load corresponds to the value specified in the documentation.
Depending on the application, but at least once a year:
- Have the condition and effectiveness inspected by an expert.
- Observe legal regulations.
Product Identification
By providing the serial number, embossed on the product and type plate, we can process your inquiry quickly. Even after 50 years!
For spare part orders:
- Provide the 7-digit serial number - see type plate.
- For older products (before 05/2010), please provide the 6-digit order or commission number.

- RC = locking unit Ratio-Clamp®
- AS = safety catcher

If the data on the type plate is no longer legible:
- The serial number on the clamping unit is engraved above the releasing port (EE).
- The serial number is indicated in the order confirmation, the shipping documents and the invoice.
