Function of the exhaust port filters
Filter air, gases and vapours

Hänchen exhaust port filters consist of a sintered bronze element embedded in a galvanised steel body. They are used for the venting of low pressure areas, such as on oil tanks or unpressurised chambers in hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic systems. The breather vent plug prevent the ingress of foreign bodies in the incoming air, thus preventing damage. They are used as breather vent plug and exhaust port filters. The exhaust port filters are characterised by high dirt separation and long service life and are particularly suitable for filtering flowing air and gases.

Cleaning the exhaust port filters

Visible contamination of the filter element can be removed in counterflow with air. Contamination inside the air filter, such as oil, can be removed with solvents.
