Industrial hydraulic cylinder
Compact hydraulic cylinders offer many advantages
The requirements for each hydraulic servo actuators and custom hydraulic cylinders vary depending on the application and environmental conditions in the area of use:
Regardless of the conditions under which you want a hydraulic cylinder to work - we make it possible. With a complete system that adapts to your requirements.
Hänchen offers services that go far beyond the purchase of the hydraulic cylinder:

A passion for high-quality, durable hydraulic cylinders requires attention to detail as a foundation. That is why we are uncompromisingly committed to quality in the production of our cylinders and give you good reasons to choose Hänchen:
80% Vertical integration
100 % Made in Germany
100 % quality
A high surface quality and geometric precision of the components in every Hänchen hydraulic cylinder guarantee an exceptionally long service life without failures.
For optimum lubrication and running properties, as well as low wear of the cylinders and seals, the sliding surfaces of the hydraulic cylinders are refined with a cross-hatch finish.
Benefit from the continuous further development of our hydraulic cylinder sealing systems. With combinations of existing seals on the market and seals developed in-house, we optimise our cylinders for wear, friction and leakage.
The guide clearance in the hydraulic cylinder must be neither too small nor too large. Hänchen therefore attaches great importance to optimum accuracy. The result is reduced stress on the guide and therefore less wear on the components.
The fewer components hydraulic cylinders have, the less prone they are to failure. And the easier and safer maintenance and installation are. The three main components of a Hänchen cylinder:
The piston and piston rod of the cylinder are inseparably connected at Hänchen. The piston is coated with non-ferrous metal to ensure a precise metallic guide. The well designed rod ends with rounded edges permit a seal-friendly installation.
The cylinder tube of the Hänchen hydraulic cylinder is inseparably linked to the cylinder mounting using a welded round-head design. Thanks to drilled ports, it saves space during installation with many options for adjustment to various applications.
A perfectly matched, stick-slip-free cover type is crucial for the service life of the entire cylinder.
Special feature of Hänchen hydraulic cylinders: The synthetic guide is firmly integrated, achieves better load distribution and minimises the risk of scoring due to dirt particles.
For an optimum combination, we select the cover type with the ideal sealing and guiding system*, the right piston rod quality and the right sealing material for you.
We equip your hydraulic cylinder to suit every application and thus realise industrial hydraulic cylinders with a long service life, even under the most difficult conditions:
Tell us what you need - only those who set conditions will get the perfect industrial cylinder.
* The recommendation of the cover type also depends on the cylinder series and the piston equipment.

Whether sensitive, free-moving or insensitive - the strength of Hänchen hydraulic cylinders is their extreme adaptability.
Depending on what you need, Hänchen, as a renowned hydraulic cylinder manufacturer, offers you the right cover type: industrial hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic actuators with optimum friction force for your static or dynamic application.
Values measured on the double-rod cylinder (bore 46 mm seal-less, rod Ø 40 mm) in sinusoidal operation according to VDMA24577 at 50° C/HLPD46.
The friction force curves of the Hänchen cylinders and industrial hydraulic cylinders are at a lower level than usual on the market.
In addition to the selected cover type, the correct piston design is also decisive for the dynamic movement of the cylinder.
If the cylinder is to be held in position under load for a longer period during operation, the rectangular compact seal can be equipped with a static elastomer seal for a load holding function. This prevents possible lowering/sinking of the piston rod.
