Contactless stroke end position detection
The stroke end positions are detected without contact by means of inductive proximity switches installed in the hydraulic cylinder.
Proximity switches are installed in cylinders with cushioning, where the cushioning geometry is detected on both sides.
The output is a switch-like, binary signal.
In the Ratio-Clamp® clamping unit, the proximity switch detects the released or locked state.
In the case of proximity switches with diagnostic output, the additional output monitors the function of the switch and the supply line.
As long as the sensor is functional, a high signal is output.
The visual adjustment aid guarantees an optimal working distance. This ensures that the sensor works reliably over the entire tolerance range. Blinking indicates the uncertain area.
