Exchange of experience in mechanical engineering at Hänchen
The exchange of experience from VDMA and BW-Leichtbau on the topic of lightweight construction applications in mechanical engineering took place on November 10, 2019 at Hänchen. The speakers from our network, including Hänchen, Hainbuch and Jomatik, report directly from the practice of industrial application why the use of lightweight construction is also worthwhile in mechanical engineering. This was followed by a tour of the company, including the production and the H-CFRP® area.

Press conference at Hänchen
On December 3, 2019, editors of renowned trade journals attended the press conference at Hänchen. The company development was discussed with a review of the topics Servoseal® and current projects of H-CFRP® components. As well as the use of the Ratio-Clamp® clamping unit as a safety component with B10D value. In the test, there were suitable demonstrations of possible applications of Ratio-Clamp® and Servoseal®.

Inauguration Ceremony Hänchen France
The new premises of the French subsidiary in Wingersheim les quatre Bans, which were occupied in January, were inaugurated at a celebration with business partners. Food and drinks were provided, and the inauguration was toasted with beverages. A magician and a caricaturist entertained the guests, and air hockey and a large table football table were used to compete for honour with great joy. Thank you very much for the great celebration!

Construction of a new production hall
With a hall of over 400 m², Herbert Hänchen GmbH & Co. KG is creating new space for metal processing at the Oettingen branch plant. "This underlines how important the Oettingen location is for us," says Matthias Hänchen. Since 2014, he has been managing the family business together with Tanja and Stefan Hänchen at the headquarters in Ostfildern near Stuttgart.

Donation for the children's and youth hospice service St. Martin
As part of the Christmas campaign, instead of Christmas presents for customers, we are supporting the children's and youth hospice service St. Martin in Stuttgart. Construction of the new building began last year and on 14 January 2019 the time has come: our subsidiary in France has moved to Wingersheim les quatre Bans, 20 km away. The office building has been enlarged and a warehouse has been added.

Third Joint Family Celebration - in Oettingen

French Subsidiary Celebrates 30th Anniversary
On December 17, 1987, the French subsidiary was founded in Hangenbieten with 2 employees. Two years later, the company moved to Strasbourg. Since 2008, Mr. Fellrath has been managing Haenchen Hydraulique S.A.R.L., which now has seven employees.

40 years at Hänchen: Bernd Nowatzki celebrates his anniversary
In August 1977, Bernd Nowatzki began his training as an industrial mechanic at Hänchen. After completing his training, he was offered a permanent employment contract. Mr Nowatzki manages the incoming goods and dispatch department.
The management congratulates the anniversary celebrant and is pleased about the long loyalty.

At the beginning of July, the starting signal was given for the new construction of our sawing centre in Oettingen. The sawing centre will be added to the existing production hall and will be put into operation next year.

Sales office East celebrates its 25th anniversary
On October 1, 1990, Mr. Knorr was hired as a field service employee for the new federal states. Shortly afterwards, Mrs. Welker joined as support. The first office premises are located in Taura, Hauptstr. 62 in a former GDR textile combine. In 2006, the office moved to the premises in the new Sparkasse building in Taura. In 2007, the sales area was expanded to include Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
