Cylinder equipment
The term equipment refers to the internal characteristics of the cylinder, such as seals or guides.
The internal equipment of the cylinder is divided into the areas of cover with the characteristics of sealing system and guiding system, piston with the characteristics of sealing system and guiding system, sealing material, and the quality of piston rod.

The sealing system in the cover describes the designs and combination of the sealing elements in the cover. The sealing material is not described here. |

The feature guiding system in the cover describes the mechanical guiding elements, such as synthetic guide, in the cover. |

The characteristic guiding system on the piston describes the mechanical guiding elements on the piston, such as metallic guide. |

The characteristic sealing material describes the basic materials used for the sealing elements across the piston and cover. For example, FKM-based means that FKM is used as the basic material together with other compatible materials such as PTFE. |

The characteristic quality of piston rod describes the material and surface finish of the piston rod, for example 20MnV6 chrome-plated. |
With the HÄKO recommendation, the combinations that make sense for the application, in particular of sealing and guiding systems on the cover and piston, can be adapted to the operating conditions.
