Functional rod
Clamping unit Ratio-Clamp®
When installing the Ratio-Clamp® locking unit, the round rod to be clamped must meet the minimum requirements according to the Image. In particular, the diameter tolerance f7 and the minimum hardness of 48 HRC must be observed.
Since the clamping unit Ratio-Clamp® works with appropriate sealing systems, a honed rod is recommended for this application.
Minimum requirements for the rod to be clamped
Functional rods are chrome-plated rods with freely configurable piston rod ends and can be directly mounted in the HäKo.
These piston rods can be configured in millimetre increments over the stroke, which corresponds to the length to be moved.
In addition, the functional rod can be extended on both sides to meet installation requirements.
