Proposal for the equipment of hydraulic cylinders
The suggestion for the selection of equipment features depends on many operating conditions.
The right equipment is decisive for the quality and reliability of the hydraulic cylinder, for its friction force, as well as the wear behavior of the hydraulic cylinder.
In particular, to determine the equipment, in addition to the working temperatures and the travel paths and speeds determined in the hydraulic design, the function of the cylinder must be taken into account:

Moving Cylinder movements without long load holding functions. A rectangular compact seal or Servoseal® is recommended as a sealing system on the piston here. |

Load-holding For cylinders with a load-holding function, for example in weight compensation cylinders. Here, a rectangular compact seal with elastomer is recommended as the sealing system on the piston. |
