• for protecting the piston rods or the position transducer itself from mechanical damage
• as a mounting option for cylinders
• for mounting position transducers

A distinction is made between

• Protection tube for piston rod (for double-rod cylinders)
• Protection tube for position transducer (for single-rod or double-rod cylinders)
