Before start-up of the plant, it must be thoroughly flushed. This includes cleaning all supply, return and leakage lines.
Hydraulic cylinders are cleaned at the factory and cannot be flushed on site.
For flushing, it is preferable to remove the valve mounted on the hydraulic cylinder and replace it with a flushing plate. This short-circuits the supply and return lines.
The fluid is pumped from the pump through all lines back into the tank for a period of time adapted to the plant size and contamination, with the highest possible flow rate but at the lowest possible pressure. This flushes contaminants in hoses and pipes into the tank.

Do not use a flushing plate for cylinders with the guiding system Servobear®, as the internal pressure supply for the bearing pockets is integrated in the P-line.
In this case, disconnect and short-circuit the P and T hoses from the mounting plate.
The process must be carried out until the required cleanliness class is achieved.
