The guiding system wear rings in the cover consists of strips loosely placed around the rod, based on PTFE.

This guide is suitable for universal use, especially if there are no special requirements for the movement of the cylinder.

Due to the tolerances of the groove and wear ring thickness, this guiding system - especially in single-rod cylinders - is suitable for "simple" long-stroke movements or for high temperatures.

In the precise and rigid test actuator of the 320 series, in conjunction with the sealing systems Servofloat^®, Servoseal^® or Servocop^®, the guiding systems with wear rings can absorb very high loads, allowing very high lateral forces on the piston rod.
