Installation of hydraulic cylinders

The hydraulic cylinder represents an actuating element. It cannot and must not be a structural element.

Side loads
Particular attention must be paid to ensuring that no side loads act on the piston rods during assembly and operation. This would inevitably lead to damage to the piston rod guide, the piston rod and in the cylinder tube.

Mounting
For mounting the hydraulic cylinders, screws of at least quality 10.9 should always be used.

Connection lines
Please flush the connection lines thoroughly, as contamination leads to malfunctions and premature failure of the hydraulic cylinders. This will prevent premature destruction of the fine surfaces and the seals and achieve a longer service life.

Hydraulic fluid
Perfect and clean fluids are a basic requirement for the service life and function of the hydraulic cylinders. When using special hydraulic fluids, sealing elements made of particularly suitable materials may have to be used.
It is therefore essential that the fluid to be used is specified when ordering or requesting a quote so that we can immediately provide the appropriate seal quality.
