Series 320 test actuators can absorb high lateral forces acting on the piston rod without damaging the cylinder or the piston rod.
The amount of permissible lateral force depends primarily on the total stroke of the cylinder and the diameter of the piston rod, as well as on the guiding system in the cover - Servofloat® or Servobear®.
In addition, the permissible lateral force depends on the stroke position, so a higher lateral load can be permitted in the retracted state than in the extended state.
